Magdala García Sánchez de la Barreda

With a degree in Art History from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Mrs García Sánchez de la Barreda attended doctorate courses focused on paintings of the 16th and 17th centuries at this university and at the Prado Museum.
She studied Restoration of artworks at CEROA in Madrid where she also achieved to conduct classes of Art History and Restoration theory.
She carried out her internship on Museology at the Museo Municipal of Madrid and at the Museo de Reproducciones Artísticas in Madrid.
She has participated in the catalogue of Gerstenmaier Collection, specially for the exposition of Flemish Paintings in Santa Cruz de la Laguna (2012)
She has been a collaborator and assistant to Professor Díaz Padrón during his research: Peter Paul Rubens; The Archduke Albert of Austria, medium, space and time (2013); Van Dyck en España (2012) awarded the prize “Europa Nostra 2014” 2014, and Jordaens en España (2018).
