The Court of Philip IV (1621-1665): Reconfiguration of the Catholic Monarchy, Volume III.

The 3rd volume from "The Court of Philip IV (1621-1665): Reconfiguration of the Catholic Monarchy" will be presented on March 12th, at 6 p.m., in the assembly hall of the Culture, Turism and Sport Office of the Community of Madrid.

This work is formed by four books in which the court, economy and religion, during the time of "el Rey Planeta", are analysed, together with some cultural areas, such as literature and theatre. From this last point of view, the arts materialised in El Escorial, the Buen Retiro Palace, the Philip IV collection and its authors, among which stands out Velázquez, are specially relevant.
