5th CENTENARY OF JUAN DE FLANDES' DEATH.

From 28th to 29th November, the lectures Juan de Flandes. V Centenario Palencia 1519-2019 will be held at the Public Library in Palencia.

During those days, some researchers, among which is the Director of the Instituto Moll, Dr Ana Diéguez-Rodríguez, will go in depth in the training of this master; his work as one of the court painters to the Catholic Queen Elizabeth; his activity from the death of this sovereign in 1504 to his own one in 1519; his followers and other painters from that period, such us Michel Sittow, Pedro Berruguete and Juan de Borgoña.

JORDAENS HAS BEEN INTRODUCED IN ASTURIAS.

The painting by Jacob Jordaens The Woman, the Fool and his Cat, belonging to the Epiarte Collection and the current invited work in the Asturias Museum of Fine Arts, was revealed yesterday by Dr Ana Diéguez-Rodríguez, Director of the Instituto Moll, along with Dr Alfonso Palacio Álvarez, Director of the aboved mentioned art gallery. 16th February 2020 is the deadline for enjoying it.

Lecture on the Brueghel.

Tomorrow, 8th November 2019, the Director of the Instituto Moll, Dr Ana Diéguez-Rodriguez will give the lecture The Brueghel, a family of painters. Beyond a dinasty at the Jesús Maestro Official School of Languages, in Madrid.

The definitive program of the International Conference Artists as Collectors: Models and Variants. From the Modern Age to the 19th Century is already available. This conference has been organised by the Instituto Moll (IM) in collaboration with the Fundación Universitaria Española (FUE) and it will be held in Madrid from 23rd to 24th January 2020.
